My name is Rachel and I am passionate about creative writing and history, having previously worked at both Windsor Castle and English Heritage. As your biographer, I will personally guide you through the process of documenting your memoirs from start to finish.

Offering years of writing experience, I believe we all have a story in our lives to share. My most recent novel, Our Silent Footsteps explores the incredible true story of Mary (an Egyptian Copt) and her Polish Jewish husband, Jozef, who met under incredible circumstances in Alexandria, Egypt in 1943. Their story is a triumph over adversity and an exploration of two entirely different cultures against the backdrop of war. See below for a selection of recent reviews of Our Silent Footsteps.
In addition to my passion for true stories, I also enjoy the genre of short stories with my story, The Train, recently longlisted for a Mslexia competition. You can read the story in full by clicking here.
